I am trying to add an "A" record for a site I host. They need something like this

xxxx.xx.xx.xxxx.xxx

The first 3 are the subdomain. The last 2 would be the subdomain

So all I did was add an A record with the first 3 xxx's in the box and then pointed the entry to a certain IP.

I cannot ping this now, or get to the server that it is point to via the address. Did I set this up correctly?
