DNS Record Not Working?

Hi there! Help!!


We are experiencing a strange issue with the domains of one of our accounts on Cpanel.

If you do a whois lookup on downeastconcrete.com, you will see that the record correctly shows that it's pointing to ns5.hermon.net and ns4.hermon.net

However, if you try to do a lookup on downeastconcrete.com, it fails! The box says the host can't be found. We did a DIG specifically on the authoratative CPanel server for the domain name, and it answered back correctly:

BUT, when you try to do a ping, or a lookup on any server not pointing to these DNS servers, it will fail:

No other domain names authoratative to these servers are affected so I can't explain why this one isn't working. Also, the registrar is correctly pointing according to their records to ns5.hermon.net and ns4.hermon.net...

Does anyone know what I can try next to figure out the issue?

But how can it think the root servers are ns1 and ns2 and the whois record states it's NS5 and NS4?

Can you post another domain name that is working correctly?

Hey!

I just called the registrar and they said that the issue appears to be on their end. The record didn't propogate correctly on their servers.

They said they'll have it fixed in 24 hours.
