Default DNS server crashing, what to do?

I have a basic LAMP server, with CPANEL installed, centOS. I am not an admin guy, just a programmer.

But my DNS service keeps crashing, and I need to restart it through cpanel about every 3 days or so.

How do I debug this? Where do I start?

ps - I have about 30 accounts on the server, and have about 1000 parked domains. Can cpanel handle 1000 parked domains?

    Hello,

I am sorry that you are having issue, and we will see what we can do to get you back going. However, in this case I would reccomend putting a ticket in so that we can take a closer look on the server. There is a link at the bottom of this post. Please let me know if you have any other quetions.

    Thank you,

I tried to enter a ticket but the site isn't working. It keeps giving me this error:

"You must fill in the following required fields:

The matching support access number for this ip address.
(This is found in the Support Center in Web Host Manager. For more help click here). If you are unable to determine the support access number, please click: . Please note that if you submit a Customer Service Request, it must first be reviewed by our customer service department and may incur considerable delay. We urge you to follow the steps to locate the support access information so your request can be authenticated."

Here is what I tried to enter on the form:

    Email: john@mccarthy.net

    Phone: 858-678-0197 daytime only

    IP: 204.15.192.194

    cPanel/Enkompass Access Level

    Root Administrator

    Default

Have you clicked where it says "click?" That will allow you to retrieve the information via SSH needed to submit a ticket.

If that doesn't work, drop us an email to cs@cpanel.net between 7am and 7pm Monday - Friday Eastern US Time and we'll forward the ticket to our technical analysts.

Regarding your parked domains question, cPanel/WHM can handle 1000 parked domains.
