dns server and whm/cpanel

Hi,

I would like to setup a dns server and whm/cpanel on the same box. My scenario is I would like to setup a dns server for all my ips then I would setup setup accounts to use the nameservers configured via my personal dns server. From then on when I create new accounts they add the records to my personal dns server. The reason I want this is because I want to be able to control the reverse dns entryies. I don't want to wait long for my reverse entries to be setup in my datacenter.

This should be possible right?

Most datacenters are NOT going to give you direct access to publish your own PTR/rDNS records. You can certainly contact them and ask but unless you have hundreds of IPs I doubt they will, even then most won't let you.
