DNS synch probs (Scp failed!)

It seems that I am having trouble getting my Cpanel box to talk to the DNS server. When I attemp the Synchronize with the Primary Nameserver I get this error:

"Rebuilding DNS Zones List from master server .....
Scp failed!"

Here's what I have:
My Cpanel test box is running Redhat 8
Cpanel build: 6.2.0-E11 (have tried 6.0 R108 and S109)
Nameserver is a Sun Cobalt Raq 4

I have established a trust relationship between the two. When setting up an account/domain in WHM, the domain is never added to the Primary Nameserver.

I am working with a 15 day trial to determine if I am going to use Cpanel for my hosting accounts.

Any help would be appriciated.
