Default Do subdomains have the same Group owner?

do sub domains have the same group owner of the main domain name? and can the main site freely write/read/exec files on the subdomain without setting any special premissions?

Currently i have 3 sites that all need to be apart of the same group so they can rwx on each other. I just need a more simple way of getting these's sites to work together, trying to get things to work via shell and changing group owners, and chmods has been a nightmare.

So if this is possible with a subdomain then i'll just recreate the sites and move the files over as sub domains

Yes, if the subdomain is created within the cPanel account of the main domain and not as a separate cPanel account.

Just create these subdomains within the same cPanel account as the main site and you wont need to deal with this as all the files would be owned by the same user .
