domain addon acting as a parked domain

Hi

I have an account with a dedicated ip . He created an addon domain however this domain
is working like a domain parked (pointing the main domain). Also the subdomain is pointing the main domain .


All other addon domain using a shared ip are not having problems. The problem is only with this account using a dedicated ip .

I checked httpd.conf and dns settings for this addon domain . All is ok .
Any idea ?

If the addonon domain shows the site for the main domain, then either httpd.conf must be wrong, or the IP address of the addon domain - which would seem less likely.

Hi

yes , the problem was on httpd .
However I was not able to find the problem because I was simply comparing
only virtual host lines .

The problem was simply :>
missing "NameVirtualHost xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80" for that ip address on httpd.conf .

Now the question could be ; why when the account was created (about 1 year ago) whm didn't create a NameVirtualHost line for it ? Answer : impossible to know
