    Default Domain log file rotation

I have a domain log that tried to update during the afternoon yesterday, but I think the server load did not allow it to complete. The logs ran around 12:30CST, but did not complete the update and the logs were rotated. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us.

The log showed 674 visitors by around 6am, but at 1:30, it only updated to 714 visitors which I know is incorrect because I have real time monitoring on this website and we average 2700 - 3800 visits per day.

Is there any way to recover the lost stats or have they rotated out and now they are gone?

What is the following option set to?
WHM: Main >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings >> Stats and Logs
    * "Delete each domain's access logs after stats run"

Per the configurable preference, if domain access logs are not deleted after stats processing then it is possible to re-process the log data.

Pleas be aware that different stats programs and different monitoring methods may not always match with precision.

Delete each domain's access logs after stats run is set to yes so I guess I am out of luck right?

I believe that might be the case if the logs are no longer available.

Did the user account happen to have the domain access logs set to be archived via cPanel? It couldn't hurt to check if it's enabled and if it is to then look in the user's home directory for the archived raw access logs.

cPanel: Main >> Logs >> Raw Access Logs >> Configure Logs
    * "Archive Logs in your home directory at the end of each stats run"
