Default Domain name showing as yourdomain.com in cPanel - Tried looking at zones etc.

    Hey,
One of my domains is showing as yourdomain.com in cPanel and I can't change the username that can access a password protected folder.

    Anyone know whats wrong?

pico /var/cpanel/users/username (Replcae username with the username having trouble in account)

Add DNS=domain.com (Replcae domain.com with the actual domain name)

    Save and exit, thats all

    Default yourdomain.com fix

Also, each of the user files under /var/cpanel/users/ must be chown'd to cpanel.<user> where <user> is the username on the account in question.

    Thanks very much

    That fixed that problem.

I have been trying to change the password of the user that can access a password protected area, but that wont work, and I cant add another user.

    Is this related?

    Thanks!

I don't think so that it is related withe the yurdomain.com issue.By password protected area are you reffering to the password protected directories feature of the cpanel?

    Yeah that's what I mean.

I also dont think the user from this domain can edit the mysql databases it owns.
I just think the permissions for this are all totally wrong, could someone tell me where I can see the permissions for the user accessing files/folders and databases for the account?

    Thanks a lot
