Default Domainkey Install Error - WHM 11.23.2

Domain key install command is successful for all domains except one using this command.

    Code:
    root@server[~]# /usr/local/cpanel/bin/domain_keys_installer user
    Error Code:

    Code:
Empty dns zone at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/DnsUtils.pm line 522.
Empty dns zone at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/DnsUtils.pm line 522.
No domainkey is generated in the DNS editor here:

    Code:
Main >> DNS Functions >> Edit DNS Zone
However, a private/public key for the problem domain was generated here:

    Code:
    var/cpanel/domain_keys/private
    and
    Code:
    var/cpanel/domain_keys/public
    Cpanel/WHM version: WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.3-C25623
    OS: Centos 5.1

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Is the Cpanel server that this account exists on also the same server that performs DNS for the domain? If your nameservers are on another machine, that might be the problem.

Look at /var/named/domain.name (replace domain.name with the name in question). See what's in there.

Nope. DNS and this account are on the same server.

I see no corruption of data in the zone for this account either.

I was able to manually work around the problem.

What I did is create a domainkey for another sample domain.

I then copied the private/public domain key to my computer, renamed them to the user name of the account affected.

I then uploaded the new private/public key to the corresponding folders.

I then copied/pasted the domain key info from the DNS zone of the sample domain into the affected domains DNS zone and hit save.

    Now it is working.

I wish there was a 'Delete" Domainkey function in Cpanel to clear whatever problem is causing this.

However, the problem still exists unless manually corrected.
