Domainkeys

I'm working with customer trying to add domainkeys to their domain via WHM. Our server is running WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.6-R27203. I've never worked with domain key entries in DNS, but I assumed I should add as I do for an SPF record. After adding entries for domain keys I am not able to see these entries by any of the domainkeys check tools or via a dig txt. I'm not sure what else I might need to do, as from what I can see I just need to add a txt record to their zone file. Any input is appreciated. Additionally, please let me know if you need me to provide additional details.

An easier way of enabling domain keys is to login to that user's cPanel interface. In the "Mail" section click on "Email Authentication." On that screen, click "Enable" in the "Domain Keys" section. If for some reason Domain Keys cannot function properly, this screen will inform you why that is the case.

The same procedure also works for SPF, just scroll down to the SPF section instead of "Domain Keys".

Thanks for your reply. I logged into that users cpanel and went to "email auth" under Mail and domainkeys are already enabled.

Status: Enabled & Active (DNS Check Passed)

Still nothings shows (except the SPF record) when I run a dig txt [domain.com] and online domainkeys check test all say no keys are in use.

Any other ideas? Your help is appreciated!

If it was my server, I'd do a quick double-check to ensure that domain was pointing to my nameservers.

After ensuring that, I recommend submitting a support ticket so our technical analysts can take corrective action.

You can build a shell script that loops through all users and executes:

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/domain_keys_installer <username>
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/spf_installer <username>
