    Default Dont backup a user

Is there anyway i can have WHM/Cpanel Not backup a user in the nightly backup? I have a large FTP site that is not important files since they dont get updated frequently, i have backups off line on CD if i need to put them back on the server. so i really dont want the folder/user to get backed up nightly cause it causes the server to run dog slow for almost an hour while its backing up the 2-3 Gb of files.

do you know if there is a way to add a FTP user that would have a home directory out side of the normal /home path? i.e. could i have a partition mounted as /files and then have a FTP user that would go directly to that folder?

Dont think so, but its possible by editing files I suppose. Probably the httpd.conf or proftpd.conf files may have some relevance on that.

    Has incremental backup been considered?

I just tried Incremental backup myself and ran into a quota problem.

It seems that the backup files kept their ownership, which for some reason is then getting added to the quotas.

It might be just my config, and I've put a ticket.
