Are your customers using IMAP and then POP3?

The customers who have received the msg are pop3 clients, including myself.

I have never used Horde, YUK! We give our users 3 clients to choose from. Squirrelmail, Horde and Neomail. I wonder why 99% of them have chosen to stay with Squirrelmail. So since i have never used Horde i wonder where this msg comes from? Our Squirrelmail users have also reported getting it. Anyone?

Squirrelmail uses IMAP as well to read messages. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Squirrelmail works only with IMAP. So if you use Squirrelmail in conjunction with POP3, they will always receive the internal folder message because IMAP needs this.

Whenever you run Squirrelmail it changes the mailbox into an IMAP (if you have downloaded your messages with POP3 before) which includes the internal folder message.

Tell your users to download their messages with IMAP (no more internal folder messages), but beware, this will blow up the mailbox size because all messages stay on the server or use Neomail with POP3.
