    Default [Doubt] Backups

Imagine that I'm afraid of loosing my forum (the files may be deleted from the host or something like that) .

Is it possible to backup all the forum (including databases and so on) ?

If yes, how can I made it?

Will I be able to restore the forum on another host?

    Thanks in advance

The best course of action would be to go to the backups section of the cPanel interface and download a full site backup and have your new web hosting provider restore that backup for you. This would include all your settings, files, mail, databases etc.

However, if you download the individual backups (database, home directory etc.) you can restore those yourself on your new hosting provider as long as they haven't disabled the backup functionality of cPanel.
