dovecot support?

i migrated but now all the pop3 accounts are not being looged in

I converted a very high end vps on dovecot, and now i see that dovecot-auth is taking too much cpu. Killing dovecot, reduces the load.

Is there something i missed here ? I thought dovecot reduced cpu/memory usage because of the way it functioned. I have been using dovecot for several years now on non cpanel servers with mailboxes in range of 1-5GB, and dovecot doesn't cause any load on those servers.
