downgrade mysql version from 5.0.51 to 5.0.45 due to bugs

On of the user on my server is asking to downgrade mysql version from 5.0.51 to 5.0.45 due to following bugs

http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=35181
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=32202

Can someone tell me if this is possible without breaking anything?

Also, When cpanel is going to release next mysql version which above 2 bug fixes.

I have been having issues with MySQL 5.0.51 as well. I will be looking into reverting as well.

The custom version of MySQL bundled with cPanel is not subject to bug 32202 according to http://changelog.cpanel.net - It should be noted that bug 35181 has been marked as a duplicate of 32202
