duplicate mail folders

Hi there,

does anyone have an explanation or solution to duplicate mail folders on cpanel?

I read here in some thread (no solution was supplied) that they are both the same, but in my cpanel, I can see the same user folder with different quota:

/ mail / someuser / has 8MBs

/ mail / domain / someuser / has 0

furthermore, I created a testbox, results are:

it does not show on this path: / mail / testbox /
it DOES show on / mail / domain / testbox /

although ive used both squirlmail and outlook to connect to it.


can someone please help?

Is this domain copied from another server? I have seen this in Ensim transfers - intial mail copied over stays in /mail then in /mail/domain.com is their current stuff.

no, it's a new domain name so it's never been used before or transfered, etc
