    Default e-mail forwarder problem

When I try to make an e-mail forwarder, I get this error:

Fatal! Write Failure: /etc/valiases/17th-hosting.net. Ignore any messages of success this can only result in failure!

Does anyone have any fixes for this?

Make sure the permissions are 644 on that file would be my suggestion. You could also manually add the forwarder, but you risk messing up your file.

The problem could also be incorrect ownership of the file, e.g. if the domain was previously parked under another user's account. The correct owner should be the account user and group should be mail.

    Example
    chown username:mail /etc/valiases/domain.com
