E-Mail stopped working yesterday!!!

For some reason or another, no users can receive e-mail anymore. I get the following error:

Reason: "The recipient cannot be verified. Please all
recipients of this message to verify they are
valid."

Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550-"The recipient cannot be verified.
Please all recipients of this message
550 to verify they are valid."

Any Ideas what are causing these problems???

Depends where the problem is. To make sure it is not with exim, and since it is affecting every user on the server?, you can reinstall it if you want with:

/scripts/exim4

Other wise you need to have a look in the server email logs in (on Linux) /var/log/exim_mainlog.

If it's only for one user or one domain - make sure that they're not over either their mailbox or account quotas.

Interesting problem, it's for certain domains, but a few of the ones that have the problem don't have quota's. It's REALLY WIERD

You could check that the domains exist it /etc/localdomains and run the following script to repair anything that it might find (which includes repairing /etc/localdomains):

/scripts/mailperm
