easy apache - going from apache 1.3 to apache 2.2 gotchas?

I just tried my first easy apache upgrade from apache 1.3 to 2.2

First thing I noticed is that the directoryindex line from the old httpd.conf is not preserved/honored and instead a default directoryindex line is inserted.

So being used to a priority of index.shtml index.php index.html index.htm etc. and having it revised to the default without warning lead to some sites showing the wrong index files...

What other gotchas should I check for?

I'm very much a newbie at much of this but mod_security is different on a few levels. Along with different rules it also stores into a Mysql database.

You can change the index order through Apache setup on WHM though.

Actually the new one as well as the old one parse the mod security logs and put them in a database for easier access. That hasn't changed.

You can change the index order through Apache setup on WHM though.
