EasyApache 3 + PDO

I've succesfully made a customized profile for easyapache with Apache 2.2, Dual PHP (4.4.8 and 5.2.5) and it WORKS.

Although, the fact is that I've disabled PDO because of the "UNSSUPORTED EXPERIMENTAL" label on it. Some users have asked us to implement this and I've told them about incompatibilities and such things, but.. I don't really know why you don't recommend to compile php with this option.

Is there any main reason about why I shouldn't use it ?
Will my compilation fail, or it's just a warning because it's a new feature from php5 ?

I've recompiled some of our webservers with PDO support and it seems to go smoothly, is there any known bugs for it to be "experimental" ?

It is poorly maintained by the PHP project.

Is there any disadvantages "server-side" of having PDO support enabled ?

I mean, does it works Ok, or it may leave my server looking upside down ?

I have had PDO compiled in since EA allowed it, I develop Zend Framework based sites using the PDO_Mysql driver and have never had a single issue with it

I've noticed that the latest cPanels bring the EasyApache with PDO without any UNSUPORTED or EXPERIMENTAL warnings.

I'm guessing that it's Ok to install it.

We removed the labels because they caused too much confusion.
