EasyApache Checks for Updates, Then Blank?

Hi,


I just upgraded to the latest release (it's the freshest you can get with AUTOMATiC updates). It has the new EasyApache, but when I go to upgrade httpd, it gives me a blank page after the "Checking for Updates" screen.


Is this a bug, or should I just go to bed

The solution for me was to increase "The maximum memory a cPanel process can use before it is killed off" under "Tweak Settings" in WHM.

Increasing memory didn't help for me; I changed it to 256 in Tweak Settings and restarted cpanel and it still failed.

I noticed this message in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log:

Can't locate object method "new" via package "Cpanel::Easy::Apache::UI::HTML" at /var/cpanel/perl/easy/Cpanel/Easy.pm line 160.

Same happens to me - blank page in WHM. Console works fine.
WHM 11.11.0 cPanel 11.15.0-C17944 RHE3; Easy::Apache v3.2.0 Build 3207

Hi,
same problem with the easyapache on WHM. And when I "Click here if you're not automatically sent to the UI.", I get a download manager windows from my browser with the file "easyapache.pl", but it does not open in my browser.

I, like Nick, would recommend submitting a ticket directly to cPanel, Inc if you are experiencing this issue.

Well it didn't for me. I ended up having to completely reinstall Perl from scratch and giving the server a reboot.

I submitted a ticket to cPanel and did what suggested by the cPanel guy:
Installing the Pod::Simple::HTML perl module.

The GUI works fine now.
And you still can use the /scripts/easyapache script. It does exactly the same thing with the same menu, execp it's in black and white!
