edit a dns zone - what to do?

I want to move a single account from one server to another. I read in other topics that when I change the nameservers with my domain registrar it is advised to edit the dns zone for this domain in WHM, so that the domain will point to the new server without delay.

Since I'm new to this, I'm not sure what to do here.
I find the lines below when clicking the option 'edit a dns zone':

Can someone explain to me which fields to edit, and what to fill out there?
Also I curious about what the meaning of the following is: NS, A, MX, CNAME?

Above and to right of that info in the zone file you will see something like this:

@ IN SOA %nameserver%. %rpemail%. (

86400 ) ; minimum, seconds

Generally what is being discussed is to lower the "TTL" setting (minimum. seconds) to something like 300 (seconds) so that when you move the domain the dns propagation will happen quickly. Once you have lowered that value for 24-48 hours you can then point the domain "A" record to the new IP address. Depending on whether you have dynamic content (mysql databases) to move then the process is fairly straight forward.
