    Default Editing Packages

    OK, A little wierd one for you:

    I recently set up a new server, everything seems fine, all accounts working perfectly and then I created a new account, I got the message unable to find an IP address. A little strange I thought so I checked out the settings in account creation carefully and saw that the dedicated IP was set to on.

    I tried to edit my packages and it displays Dedicated IP = Yes for all my packages but wont let me turn it off, any easy way to do this or is it a case of deleting my packages and then adding them back again?

    Best Wishes

    Default

    The package details are in /var/cpanel/packages/packagename.
    The line you want is
    IP=n
    or
    IP=y

    Default Thanks

    Thanks for the pointer, it is strange that you can edit everything through WHM except turning on and off dedicated IP.
