I know Neomail has a default setting of 1 MB, but what about exim, itself? Does exim have a directive to deny attachments of a certain size limit and is there a default size limit setup with the initial installation of cpanel? Thanks.

Thanks, where is this set at?
message_size_limit = 10 M
(would set it to 10 megs)
FWIW, according to OReilly's Exim book (written by Exim's author) there is no default limit in Exim... and I don't see this set in CPanel's implementation either.

There's a limit in exim.conf but it's a fairly large one:
message_size_limit = 16384000
I checked our /etc/exim.conf and there's no size limit.
Neomail limit in cpanel box is 2 MB
Exim could be configured

No you can not able to change setting for a particular user. It is server wide setting in php.ini file.![]()
