Possibly could have been the network speed or the current server usage?

Does this happen often, or was yesterday the first time for you?

    hi,

I am also getting my mails delayed.

I can see in my mailscanner log (mailwatch) that the mails already been filtered by mailscanner and that it is not spam. But when I check the user email, the mail is just not there. I have users complaining that they are not getting their mails. I checked in the queue and don't see that mail there.

I do remember having a mail delivered to me that came in 1 day late yesterday. But today when I tested, it is working fine. Today, another user is complaining having this problem.

Anyone have any idea what is happening? It shouldn't be load problem because I already can see that mail in mailscanner mailwatch. Just that why is it not there yet?

Please help!!! using WHM 10.6.0 cPanel 10.6.0-R55 .

    Thanks in advance.

Well, MailScanner is out of bounds so far as cPanel is concerned. However, to check the MailScanner log tail /var/log/maillog to see if you have an email backlog that it is trying to process.

err...how do i check for backlogs in maillog? I tailed the file and it is showing emails being processes and filtered. I also cleared the mailqueues.

More users are complaining that mails they send out was not received by the recipient. But when I try to send using external mail (gmail) and internal mail account, it works fine!! I am out of idea. It's working erratically.

    Thanks in advance.

not sure if this is related to my problem but in my mailqueue,

I tried to make an email "deliver now". Then it came back with an error message saying

    Message 1Ebb8U-0006kk-Fm is not frozen
    delivering 1Ebb8U-0006kk-Fm

    ccrbs.com [202.75.41.xx]: Connection timed out
    LOG: MAIN
    == user@ddd.com R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp defer (110): Connection timed out

But the thing is, when I ping ddd.com, it did resolve to the same IP and with reply.

How come when sending email, it get that Connection timed out error?
