after cpanel upgraded their stuff, i can no longer get email to go from email@domain2.com to email@domain1.com (see old instructions below)

is there something i need to change in order to fix this stuff

Example: @domain2.com email to be forwarded to @domain.com
(*) add parked domain info as normal in WHM (domain2.com ---& domain1.com)

(*) edit /var/cpanel/users/primary-username and add
DNS1=domain2.com (DNS1 or DNS2 in that order if there is already existing DNSx)

(*) Then, you edit the /etc/valiases/domain2.com file and add
*: primary-user

(*) Confirm the /etc/userdomains information matches the primary sites user name
2ndomain.com: primary-user

(*) Confirm the /etc/localdomains information has the parked domain listed
2ndomain.com

(*) test it by sending a email that already exists on domain1.com with domain2.com, example
garyp@domain2.com now forwards to garyp@domain.com
