phantom, what is it that this command is showing? Is it all connections that are established. I noted that new lines continues to scroll up.

If it continues to roll on a new server then you do have something wrong. Copy and paste what it's saying here.

This is the cpanel chkserv daemon monitoring ftp

May 8 15:35:58 bliss sshd(pam_unix)[8179]: session opened for user admin by (uid=500)
May 8 15:36:05 bliss su(pam_unix)[8211]: session opened for user root by admin(uid=500)

This is the account called admin su'ing to root

Unless you don't know about the ftp login or the admin/root login these are normal messages. There is thogh nothing here about mail.

I would also check to see if in /var/spool/exim/input or msglog if there is anything in there.

dgbaker is correct. There is nothing there.

What is the error message you are getting when you send and receive mail?
