Email Not Being Delivered

I nor other clients are able to send mail outside the server. Everyone receives incoming mail fine but just can’t send.

Here’s the thing mail sent to different accounts on the server work fine. But mail sent outside the server just sit in queue. This has been happening for about three days or so now.

Does anyone have a solution? I really need to get this fixed, clients are really starting to complain.

Could this be a DNS issue?

Of course mail going to accounts on server would work because that will be seen as a local host and never try and go out at all. I have experienced in the past the datacenter that a server was in had a filter that blocked the outgoing mail but that should be rare. You might try to go into WHM and then check you mail cue and delete messages in it if there are a lot. Then try to restart exim and see if that could correct it. Also try the email troubleshooter to see if there is an issue with a particular email address on the server. There were some permission problems with Cpanel upgrades. You might also try logging in at root and running a fix script. At root type in /scripts/fixeverything
That will fix some problems.

Problem has bee fixed.
Our datacenter didn't want to believe it was a routeing issue. But turns out is was. Thanks for responding to this topic.
