Default Email Problem - Permanent Failure: Account Inactive

I have someone that is trying to email a client that is on my server, and they get this error message:

I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned
below could not be delivered to one or more destinations.

    <johnsmith@domainname.com>: Permanent Failure: Account Inactive

The "John Smith" account does exist on my server, and has tons of space still available. I am able to send email without problem from both of my email account, one of which is on the same server, under a differnt domain name, and one that is on an outside server.

    Any insight/ideas would be appreciated

What was the problem? I'm sure it would be useful to know for others with similar issues.

    Default Sorry about that!

It was actually a problem with the way that the person trying to send the mail had their Preferences set up on their account, which is with Everyone.net. So it was a non-cPanel problem.
