email stopped working after update

Hi guys,

I was running cPanel with layer2's spamassassin+clamav+mailscanner. Today I upgraded to WHM 9.9.7 cPanel 9.9.8-S6
RedHat 9 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0
After that upgrade, email stopped working. No error messages but no email is incoming or outgoing from the server.

I suspect it can be a mailscanner issue. I visited layer2.cpanel.net but I can't find that packet anymore. Is there any incompatibility issue between mailscanner and the new cpanel.

Please help me as I cant find where the problem resides.

I really thank you for your support. I just didn't know what to do and the phone did not stop ringing the whole day...
