    Default email username +domain @domain

I know there is a certain requirement for the VPOPs to use the account name in the form: user+domain.com, but until now, it has been working from non-webmail email clients without the extra domain for some time, on dediated IP accounts.

This seems to have stopped working only in the last couple of days, perhaps with a cPanel upgrade.

Is there really nothing I can do to get more out of the system and not need this extra information?

My biggest concern is having migrated to a cPanel server from a regular linux server and having to make so adjustments like these on the user end.

I'm getting complaining calls as I write this that people's usernames are failing... why has it just stopped working now?!

There's nothing you can do about it, it is how cPanel works.
