Emails not directing to mail server

I'm using Fedora Core 7 for a web server and I'm running PHP code. This code is setup like an internal shopping cart to track parts. When a part is ordered an email is supose to go to our purchaser with the information.

The issue I'm having is the email is not getting thorugh. It looks to me like there is a setting in Cpanel that is not pushing the email from the web server to my company's mail server. Do you know where that setting is? I'm thinking that I need an outside address to our mail server, so I'm working on locating that information, but when I get it, where do I edit the information?

If you have root access to the server, go to WHM -> Server Configuration -> Tweak Settings and see if the following setting is selected:

Prevent the user "nobody" from sending out mail to remote addresses (PHP and CGI scripts generally run as nobody if you are not using PHPSuexec and Suexec respectively.)

If so, then verify PHP is running as SuPHP via EasyApache (WHM -> Software -> Apache Update). If so, things should be okay - but you may wish to check the mail queue to see if things got snagged for some reason. Otherwise review the mail logs.

If you are blocking user nobody from sending mail but aren't running SuPHP/SuExec, that would explain why mail is not getting through.
