Emails with PDF attachement are beeing rejected

One of our customers complains that he all mails with PDF attachements are beeing rejected, although test email and test email with pdf worked fine. Still, may be there are some settings? Client does not have any filter in CPanel and we are using ClamAV as antivirus.

Any specific error messages in /var/log/exim_mainlog....do u have mailscanner installed?

No, nothing special there and as I mentioned, we are using ClamAV instead of mailscanner.

Just a hunch, but I've seen some scenarios where attachments named "ab.cd.ef.gh.pdf" (or some variation of the theme) are being rejected as the system thinks the filetype is being spoofed. That might explain why your simple test goes through.

Can you find out on the emails that are bouncing what naming convention was used for the pdf attachment?
