Enable mod_userdir Security

Hello,

we currently have the mod_userdir enable "Enable mod_userdir Protection" box checked but need to allow one domain to access their domain temporarily till the end of the month using the tidle off the main server IP. If I check the box for that domain to exclude protection it still doesn't allow that domain to come up when using the url: http://<server_ip>/~domain_name

is there something I'm missing here ??
