error on backup/restore

dear SUPPORT,
cause of several reason we need to disable php system() function but we got error on cpanel backup/restore, its seem that cpanel use system() from php also, is there another way to enable the restore/backup system except from enabling php system() function ? thanks

If you want a response from cPanel Support you would need to log a ticket through your cPanel license provider. That said, the cpanel backup script /scripts/cpbackup is a perl script and doesn't use php at all, unless you're referring to something else.
