is any of you running edge build and chirpy's mailscanner? i seem to have a problem. i already documented it in http://forum.configserver.com/showthread.php?t=398 as it's official issue,
long story short: nobody tweak from whm does not work as the mailscanner bypasses it.
can anyone duplicate the issue?
Not everything that is counted counts and not everything that counts can be counted
i just got the following info:
mailscanner stopped, tried sending mail, using a form from the site, using user nobody.
mails did not arrive, but they weren't discarded either, as it should, so i think it still needs some work to be done on it. they stayed in the queue.
when i started mailscanner, mails were delivered, so i strongly believe it is a mailscanner issue.

What does /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log say?
Installed Version: 11.1-EDGE_10253
Newest Version: 11.1-EDGE_10298
Looks like a new edge build is out...seeing if it fixes this issue, will post back in a moment
Tweak settings works again in 11.1-EDGE_10298 *thumbs up*
well it sodes not spit out any error. simply the mailscanner is bypassing the exim tweak, and i can send out mails using user nobody. and .. for some weird reason chirpy removed the topic from his forum ...

Mailscanner is not supported under V11 of cpanel at the moment. Jonathan is working on it however![]()
