    Default Error when logging in.

    Hello all, any help is much apprieciated.
    When one of my customers logged in today he was shown this error at the top of cpanel at the 'switch account' dropbox.

    Is he using a custom theme or the default X3 theme? Have you tried forcing an update again to see if that helps? I'm not sure it will here though by that error:

    You might want to put in a ticket to cPanel for this one.

    There is an unrelated thread about changing the GID that might be useful, not sure. Be sure to check the entire thread though.

    He's using the default theme, I just made a test account to check, and the same error appears on all of the themes.

    Edit: Did a cpanel upgrade, seems to have fixed it, still not sure what caused it.

    We just had the same issue.

    Just in case anyone else needs a fix here it is.
    Logon as root and type:

    touch /var/cpanel/skipparentcheck

    Done
