/etc/relayhosts
What should be in this file?
I see Ip's in there that are not part of my network, or part of my co-lo's network...
I don't see many of the IP's that I use on my servers either.
thanks for any help...

Sometimes in my exim/mainlog is see.
Cant open /etc/relayhosts then the error goes away. /etc/relayhosts is chmod 644 so im not sure why we see this error at times. Maybe you should look to see if this is happening in your exim_mainlog as well.
That file holds the IP addresses found by the antirelayd daemon which collects them from /var/log/maillog and puts them into that file to allow relaying from those IP addresses through the server - i.e. POP before SMTP.Originally Posted by randee
