Ever thought about adding nginx or lighttpd to WHM?

Just wondering if the devs for cpanel ever thought about adding nginx or lighttpd as an option to apache web server in WHM?

Hi - sorry, not sure what I'm looking at... Is this some tree of cpanel yet to be released? I'm new to WHM and cPanel so words would be ok with me if you have any to share... my head sort of tilts to the left a little and the right eye starts twitching while I'm trying to decide what I'm looking at...

Ah cool! I assumed it was some type of bug reporting system for beta versions of cpanel. OK, I'll take a 5th look at the links.

I'm not sure cpanel should integrate all three of those options, but doing some benchmarks on some light and heavy loaded webservers and selecting the most dynamic one of the links would simplify your work and make cpanel end-users, your customers, well chuffed. Choosing only the fastest options in a few different webserver situations would be of benefit for you (lightening your workload) and the end-users (blazingly fast servers no matter if one visit per day or 10 million...).

There are currently no plans to support nginx.
