Unhappy Everyday, at the same time, my server crashes...

I just do not know what to do anymore.

    The server is a P4 3.0HT GHz w/ 1Gb RAM

Every single day it crashes around 13:00, the load goes up to 10K and all services fail.

    And there is the infamous:
    /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir/ --datadir/var/lib/mysql --usermysql --pid-file/var/lib/mysql/host.weebcom.org.pid --skip-locking --socket/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

    I've already:
    - disabled persistency on php.ini
    - tweaked my.cnf
    - made a cron to delete .wrk files from /tmp/ folder
    - runned WMH apache memory usage

    Any ideas anyone ??

    check your clients crons.

maybe some smart client is running some maintanance queries at that time.

My thoughts also. If its the same time every day like clockwork, then its probably something being triggered by cron. Take a look at the crons on the machine, and see what you can find, if anything.

    Forgot to say it...

    I've made: grep '13' *
    on /var/spool/cron

    And found nothing

    what OS ?

we had a similar problem with RHEL v3 on 1 box and we ended up going to the 2.6 kernel and this solved our issues

There so many bugs in Fedora Core 1 and you definitely need to upgrade to Fedora Core 2 or 3.
