    Default Exim Access Hosts =

I'm trying to find the proper syntax for doing a blanket whitelist for a subnet.. i.e.

    1.2.3.0/24

    I can't do the above, i can't do 1.2.3. I can't do 1.2.3.*

Any suggestions for doiing this within exim.conf and the " accept hosts = net-lsearch;/etc/rbl-whitelist" file. This is right before the rbl lists I use.

The problem is... I have a few customers who keep turning off and on their PC. They are DSL customers, and do not have permanent IP addresses so y'all can see where I am right now. They keep getting rbl'ed everytime they change an IP address... because their network address seems to be blanketed as spam thanks to SBC or BellSouth's inactions..

Try changing net-search to lsearch and then you should be able to wildcard it (i.e. 1.2.3.*).

    Trying that, thanks.

The exim docs aren't exactly that "concise" so.. I was having trouble finding the different capabilities of the accept hosts option.
