Default exim binding to port 443

We have seen on several cpanel servers were exim grabs port 443, if apache dies. Is this a chkservd issue or is this something else? I have seen this on several of our servers, I dug though exim.conf and it does have TLS support but to my understanding TLS should only work on port 25 with exim, and not even touch 443.

Under server setup / service manager you can setup exim to run on another port. try that and see if it helps.
