    Default exim.conf customization suggestions

On a recent CP upgrade it overwrote my exim.conf and caused all e-mail to simply be lost in a black hole. No errors or anything...

Anyway, I ran the restoretodefault script and all is well again... however... it brings up questions:

    1) Why would a CP upgrade cause e-mail to stop working (stable 9.90 Pro)
    2) I honestly cannot remember if I had customized exim.conf. I do not think I had- but are there suggested or "common" mods I may need to redo or should consider?
    3) I have no resellers, thus no WHM's, so how do I get to the WHM settings for exim as I've seen suggested in these forums.

    Thanks for helping a newbie.

    Bob
