exim error 550

anyone know a quick fix for my server not able to sent nor receive email?
getting
unrouteable mail domain
im using lastest stable release with exim4.30
i have the send email as nobody off
and dont run phpexecu

but still all domains on my server are getting this error,
anyone
maybe know why?

btw its on a freebsd server

when typing this

/scripts/mailperm i get:

chown: /etc/exim.crt: No such file or directory
chown: /etc/exim.key: No such file or directory

/script/upcp
/script/susup

with no luck

i still can not receive email from hotmail,yahoo,mail.com
nor can i send email, to them or other emails addy's

I am having the same problem. I have freebsd 4.9 and i can not send or recieve. Tried all of your fixes that you tried as well. I also had those errors you did with the crt.

i got rid of freebsd 4.9 and popped 5.2 in it and it fix the error

I have a RHEL 3.0 and after most of those scripts it still has the error

i have the same problem too and my tech solved it.

on my problem :

just look on dns setting and there is wrong configuration for "mail" that pointed using an A record not CNAME. change it to CNAME solve the problem.

Welp, DNS was the first thing i checked. Was all good. i did a /scripts/fixeverything. I tried a /scripts/upcp but it fails allover the place. Freebsd dun like Cpanel, or maybe vice versa. Either way. My fix was to just do a make inside of the exim port to install the missing dependencies and all was good.

try: killall -HUP exim

You need to do this anytime you make a config change, for the exim
daemon to re-read the config..
