exim hang on startup.

Hi,

whenever i started up system . and its trying to startup exim. it just hang there. until i do a control c. to bypass it..

I tried to do a update on the cpanel and it give me this error..

cPanel/WHM Update


PHP version file is up to date
Doing a manual update...
Cpanel updates are coming from layer2.cpanel.net
x - creating lock directory
x - SKIPPING /usr/local/lib/php.ini (file already exists)
openssh is installed

/scripts/updaenow;
/scripts/upcp;

didnt' seem to work..

Ok, try this

Log into your machine with ssh (root).

Once logged in,

cd /usr/ports/security
fetch http://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-0.9.7d.tar.gz
tar xfzv openssl-0.9.7d.tar.gz
cd openssl-0.9.7d
make install

Once reinstalled openssl, exim would build as it requires some shared files from openssl. Then update from WHM.

Seem like the port needed to be updated.. or else exim wont' install i guess..

Cool...Glad it worked out. FREEBSD is the last to be coded from Cpanel I guess and from what I see, they dont test much over there on BSD before they release anything.

I am still waiting on tickets and bugzilla issues with Oscommerce. In the meantime, we need to fix the bugs for our customers and now do it ourselves.
