Exim local delivery failed

Noticed this Exim error starting to occur this week. It's only happening when addressees attempt to send emails to other addreesees on the same domain. Sending out and receiving to other domains works perfectly.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

person@domain.com.au
local delivery failed

The following text was generated during the delivery attempt:

I had read that thread earlier today and updated Exim as you suggested. There haven't been any more of these emails bounced to the queue. Having said that, it's after hours now, so I'll have to wait for business hours tomorrow to verify that this has fixed it.
