It seems that cpanel could use some better mail admin interfaces. For example the option where you can configure exim from cpanel. if you edit exim.conf directly the changes will not show up in cpanel. And some items like the rbl settings cannot even be changed from within exim.
The last days have clearly shown that cpanel should include the mailscanner - clamav package as well.
Running a mailserver without virus scanning is suicide these days - and it will not get better!
What is really needed is an interface where the admin can adjust the filtering level in exim, mailscanner and spamassassin. For example should there be an option to block most spam with some rbl lists and then get the rest through spamassassin.
Any ideas? Is the cpanel team open to this path at all?
