Default Exim only accept email from certain IP's per domain?

We have a Barracuda spam firewall that we only use for a few domains on our cpanel server. It's been working great except when the spammers use the A record instead of the MX record for a domain, and are able to send email to the domain by connecting directly to the cpanel server instead of going through the Barracuda.

Is there a way to tell exim to only accept email from a certain IP for a certain domain?

    thanks!

More than likely, yes. You'll probably want to do it as an ACL. Have a trawl through the exim FAQ and documentation at www.exim.org

thanks Jonathan... yea, been looking over it..... does this look right? my exim ACL work is VERY limited:

    defer domains = somedomain.com
    ! hosts = 12.12.12.12

where in the exim config editor would it go?

    thanks..
