Default exim: "remote host address is the local host"

I'm having trouble sending mail from one local domain to another local domain. Here's the error that I receive in exim_mainlog:

2005-03-24 10:14:53 H=([127.0.0.1]) [xx.xx.xx.xxx] F=<mail@yyyyy.com> temporarily rejected RCPT <nerezza@zzzzz.com>: remote host address is the local host

I have checked, and both yyyyy.com and zzzzz.com are in the "/etc/localdomains" file. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Check that the MX records are set correctly for each domain.

I had similar problems with one domain not too long ago and it turned out that the domain in question managed to lose its MX records when being transferred in.
